Pear tree
Martine's post of this week provides inspiration.
This tree in my garden never gave pears. It's probably ill or too old. It looks nice, but in a week or so the rotten fruits will fall off and make a mess. But for now the green colours make me very happy and give me the hope that for the first time in seven years I will get a chance to taste the fruit!
