Antique nose flute

This Mongolian instrument requires three players. The 'inner' player or "broghro" (usually a young boy) blows into the middle tube, accompanied by the 'outer' players, the "ehr-grhu", traditionally Buddhist monks. By partially opening or closing the two holes in front, the players create sonorous melodies that can traverse long distances.
