Giant insect
This Earth cricket (Latin: Gryllotalpa gryllotalpa) is an insect that is protected in the Netherlands and Belgium. Of course we found this animal in our garden. It eats all roots from the plants in the garden and we may not even destroy it. With its length of 5cm it is one of the biggest insects of Western Europe.
