This Door Is Alarmed
This sign is on an emergency exit of "Wagamama", a trendy noodle place in downtown Amsterdam. Lots of foreigners work there and eat there. So is this "Dunglish" (Dutch/English) mistake intentional?
I think so. If only because if you translate it directly into Dutch, it sounds equally wrong.
